Human consciousness, spirituality, attachment parenting, ego, non-duality, RFK Jr., DJT, the microbiome, the sentience of plants….My octogenarian friend and I satisfied our appetites, our hearts, souls, minds last night on a feast of topics, vegetables, fresh and dried fruits, nuts, chocolates, and cups of herbal tea during our quarterly dinner visit. Our uniquely tasty salad, shown below, was, obvs, also a feast of color.
My biggest takeaway from my wise friend in relation to this brutal old-new-administration is summed:
Hurt people hurt people. Which, then, signals us to love all people more.

Last night when I dined with my friend, and, this afternoon, when I walked the greenway with another one of my favorite peeps—the backyard creek of today’s friend, shown below—fulfilled parts three and five of my 2025 Manifesto—Embrace Joy and Seek and Savor Community.
I am nourished.
Hang tight. Take care. And remember: Present.Time.Consciousness. This one now moment is all we have. The past is dead. The future not yet born. The later exists in our head, and is often a metaphorical door—especially in these times—to a powerful vortex of fear. —xxL
